In this paper, the operation strategy of a hotel chiller room in East China is optimized, and a variety of operation schemes are simulated and analysed by using energy consumption simulation software. The results show that the original scheme only uses the frequency conversion control for the chilled water pumps, and the energy efficiency ratio of the chiller room is 4.62. Optimization scheme 1 adopts the traditional frequency conversion method and adopts frequency conversion control for the chilled water pumps, cooling water pumps and cooling tower fans. The energy efficiency ratio of the chiller room reaches 5.32, which is increased by 15.1% compared with the original scheme. Optimization scheme 2 optimizes the control of the chillers, chilled water pumps, cooling water pumps and cooling tower fans, the energy efficiency ratio of the chiller room is 5.48, which is 18.6% higher than that of the original scheme, the annual carbon emissions can be reduced by about 79 t, and the energy saving effect is remarkable.
